Which Linux distribution to install on a laptop?

Which distro to put Lin on a laptop with the following x-mi so as not to be stupid:

200 GB RAM - hard
Vidyakh 1.5 GB Nvidia
Will stand IDE, Node, etc.

Install Ubuntu with XFCE (Xubuntu). The most friendly and simple distribution.
