There is a netbook Acer Aspire one 725. It is necessary to optimize it for web development HTML, CSS, JS, PHP, Drupal.
Characteristics: AMD Dual-Core C-70 (1.3 GHz) / RAM 2 GB / HDD 320 GB / ATI Radeon HD 6290
Which distribution is better to install? I need something comfortable and not very gluttonous.

The topic of choosing a distribution is always a holivar one, because by default, people usually know their distribution and do not know others.
Therefore, the options are:
0. The one you know best
1. The one that your closest Linux teacher recommends
I personally think, having become quite familiar with debian, centos, freeBSD, and having worked (from 98 to 2004) on slackware, that there is no better archlinux .

I advise you to install Crunchbang, a lightweight distribution based on Debian, many packages, for quick deployment of LAMP I advise XAMPP , installed in 2-3 clicks, it also starts

I collected Xubuntu for myself, look if you are interested yadi.sk/d/ga5eR3j3HWubm
Added Russian, Skype, Chromium-browser, Xneur, Sublime Text 3, Virtualbox, Putty, FileZilla and updates that solve some release glitches.
Very satisfied. For web development, that's it. I support XAMPP, although you can use the old-fashioned LAMP.

Take Ubuntu and install a lighter window manager. Well, or immediately Xubuntu for example.

Lubuntu 12.04: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lubuntu
The desktop is similar to the old Venda, it does not slow down, it does not eat memory.
The package base is shared with Ubuntu, i.e. one of the largest and most debugged.
Important packages have working secure settings out of the box and/or a configuration wizard.
Updates for most packages will be released until 2017.
Take here: mirror.yandex.ru/ubuntu-cdimage/lubuntu/releases/1...
From the additional it is recommended to install VLC and OpenOffice (available in the repositories, but not included in the distribution).
