Which linux distribution to choose for the transformer?

I fell into the hands of such a piece of iron Acer Iconia Tab W500 , I want to put linux on it, if someone has a similar experience, tell me which distribution kit and which DE to navigate. Interested in tablet-oriented DE, screen auto-rotation, on-screen keyboard, and of course a lightweight distribution, because. I can’t say that the animal is very smart.
Thanks in advance to everyone who shares their experience.

The article is bookmarked and it is interesting in that it shows a fairly simple Linux setup for using the device, including auto-rotation, with the attached python script. There are many comparisons of distributions for tablets on the net, and Ubuntu is most often preferred. I would do the same, because they have a huge community and already have a lot of answers to questions that may arise during tablet setup.
A couple more links from bookmarks:

www.ubuntu.com/tablet
And here is a link to the same question as you and with the same device - TouchScreen-friendly Linux distribution, they seemed to have advised the same article that I attached above.
Anyway, I'll just leave this here in case it comes in handy.

Thanks for the answer, all these articles were read before the question was asked, unfortunately they most often mention outdated distributions and solutions, oddly enough, debian jessie 8.3 worked quite correctly from the fresh one, as they say "sparkles", the next step I will try arch, I want convenience in work.
