Which Linux distribution to choose for a LAMP server?

The task was to quickly raise the server (for one website) on Linux on the old hardware (Intel's 7-year-old server). The set is standard - apache mysql php. It will be administered remotely. The task is to minimize the hemorrhoids during installation and maintenance.
Or I'm considering an alternative to VDS (at the start you need a 300GB disk, 8GB of RAM, 1 full-fledged processor) - maybe there are inexpensive options?
upd: I understand that "the best distribution is the one that the familiar guru knows". the question is not that I can't figure it out - there is "from scratch" experience - the question is which distribution kit will require a minimum of time to solve standard server tasks. and so that after 2 years I would not receive a notification that "support for the version is ending and I need to update everything to switch to the new version"

Anyone that you understand.
From the popular Debian/Ubuntu/Centos
On VDS you don't get a processor, you won't get a full-fledged kernel.
And with a large disk https://contabo.com/ or https://www.time4vps.eu/storage-servers/

The easiest and painless way (maybe not the most optimal):
1. Install "naked" ubuntu
2. take https://vestacp.com/ and it puts everything you need :)
3. Create a database, domain, etc. through the admin panel .P.....
