Which laptop to choose with a budget of ~$1000?

Need a good laptop for the front-end.
Budget 20.000 - 30000 UAH ($1000)
I choose from 2 brands - Asus and DELL (Acer, HP do not offer. I have bitter experience with these brands.)
Screen size 14 ′, but this is not so important. The main thing here is compactness and weight. About 1.5-2kg max.
The most important criterion: the presence of an SSD, well, an HDD (At least the ability to install it in the future)
I have searched through many online stores, but I can’t stop at one particular option. Everywhere has its drawbacks. Perhaps one of the owners of laptops of these brands will share advice. I'm confused. I don’t understand if I need video, or if the internal Intel graphics is enough. How much RAM is needed for uncompromising work ... In general, I'm waiting for your advice. Perhaps for 2k18 the budget is not magical in the world of laptops, but I think this is the threshold from which you can still find a decent device.
(Apple laptops are great, but I've tried the Air, and it's a bit underpowered, and the Pro pushes the budget way too high.)

take it from the video, sites will render faster, had asus n56 vb, core i5, 8gb, gt 740m, when I launched the browser through 740m, everything worked faster
As for the SSD, I would just take it from the HDD, I would buy a separate SSD and install it, cheaper, at least 3 years ago it was so

Special adapters are sold for this, so I would take a laptop with hdd - since it's cheaper and since they don't write in the characteristics of the laptop what exactly it costs for ssd, usually something is the cheapest. Therefore, we take a laptop with hdd, then we throw out cd and put ssd there of acceptable quality and volume.
What do you need a laptop for? If the answer is not obvious, I would take it with a discrete video card just in case.
P.S. To work with win10, you need to have ssd because it constantly loads hdd in full.
