Which language to choose to study?

Good afternoon. I struggle with the question of choosing a PL for study.
All I've tried to do so far is write simple WEB applications and Hello world! in C++ and C#.
I'm going to study Linux along with learning a new programming language, so it's important that I can use this PL normally in UNIX-like OSes.
From the wishes ... Probably I would like to write Client-Server applications, pseudo-intelligent bots and the like.
Guide me to the right path. :D

Learn Go!
In general, teach anyone, the main thing is to program on it, and not read books. On one Hello world! you won’t go far, only during real tasks comes understanding of PL.
