Which JS game engine to choose for developing games like Agar.IO / Slither.io?

Hello.
I want to develop a game like Agar.io / Slither.io - so the principle is the same.
The action will take place on a large map, it will be possible to move around, collect bonuses, food, etc.
What can you advise. Before this, there was no experience with html5 games.
What's the best way to do it? Write on the engine, or pure JS.
If you choose an engine, which one? It is desirable that then there would be a sufficient number of literature or tutorials on it.
