Which js framework is more suitable for developing single page applications?

I'm going to make a html 5 single-page application of not small size in terms of functionality and I think it's better to choose Angular or Backbone for this. I am transferring the functionality of a desktop application written in C # to a web interface. I found comparisons of them, but there they were considered rather as a tool for a spherical problem in a vacuum, and I need a tool for solving a specific problem.

On Angular it will turn out faster (in terms of development time, not performance) than on vanilla Backbone (especially with all sorts of ng-ui).
Backbone, however, is more low-level and flexible.
PS But in general, a question like "which nail hammer is best for driving nails" :) They are both for SPA.

for a spherical problem in a vacuum, but I need a tool for solving a specific problem.

Are you specifically hiding specific information?

C# has a great web alternative - ASP.NET, but if you still want to pervert new technologies, I recommend reading about Angular and Backbone here (because the threshold for entering it is high).
And in essence, considering a tool without seeing the task is like cutting a spherical horse in a vacuum (the description "an application with a bunch of buttons and molds" does not mean anything)

If you don't like Angular.js, try Angular Light.
