Which is easier to program for: iOS or Android?

Almost every day I observe disputes on the Internet about the superiority of one OS over another ... I wonder if there are any differences in programming for IOS and Android? Don't coders swear about this ..?

It all depends on which programming language you prefer.
Objective-C is a very good language, after Java, of course, it was a surprise to see its syntax, but as it turned out, everything is very simple and intuitive. In a couple of months you can master it, up to the level of writing code without a book. Under Android, in my courses, managers write a client to their blog in a month and a half.
As for development for Android and iOS, in principle, the level of complexity is approximately the same, thanks to xCode, development for iOS is a very exciting experience, for Android you will have to dance with Studio.
The only disadvantage of iOS is the need for a Mac at the learning stage, which is not always affordable.

I'm afraid of Objective-C, maybe in vain

In the presence of cross-platform frameworks, I think it’s not relevant. Although for iOS the entry threshold is higher. Well, somewhere on Habré there was a statistic that iOS users are "more solvent".

If you can use cross-platform solutions - use them. With the advent of Swift, developing natively for iOS has become easier than for Android.
