Which is better for smart home banana pi m3 or raspberry pi 3 b+?

You need a piece of hardware to implement a smart home that will normally cope with openhab + conbee 2 + Deconz, Kodi media center, transmission and samba (x2 hdd 1TB each)
What is better to take?
Or take two raspberries and one for the media center and the other for a smart home?
The only embarrassing thing is that there are very few buns for a banana (

Of course, raspberries. And that's why:

  1. Big community
  2. Lots of documentation and instructions.
  3. A bunch of sensors and all sorts of gadgets
  4. Well, it's a raspberry! Well, what could be better?

I have been using the above raspberry for a year. Definitely good support. But the raspberry is rather weak, I would like something more powerful, I think I will change it to 4 later.

Raspberry is better. Kodi on M3 in Linux will not be installed, or rather it will be installed but will not start !!! Works only if on a banana OS Android. I have Bananapi M3. On the community forum, they wrote that the coding was hard-wired to the hardware and the M3 was not partitioned. As for hdd, they will work slowly and on the board there is only 1 Sata (the speed is like usb 2.0), they also wrote about the speed on the forums. Linux distributions have not been updated for a long time. Of all the images that exist today, I would advise Dietpi. It is without a shell graph and after dancing with tambourines, Wifi and bluetooth work stably. And it’s better to take some kind of nettop, you can even with Avito, insert giga 2-4 operatives and ssd for the system and hdd for files. But it is better to separate the media center and the smart home. For example, kodi on raspberries, the rest on the nettop. openhab can kill a flash drive in 2-3 months.
