Which Ipod touch to choose (question on model and warranty)?
Good afternoon.
I'm thinking about purchasing an Ipod Touch 5, the question arose about the model. Searching the Internet, I found two options: American players (model code ends in LL, such as MD721LL), and some mysterious players with a model code ending in RP (such as MD724RP). It seems like on some sites such models are marked with the Rostest icon. However, to my surprise, I could not find anywhere what the RP code means - everywhere it is written that for Russia the codes end in RR or RS.
Will the manufacturer's warranty cover an American player in Russia? Maybe there is no difference at all and you can safely take an American one, or is it still better to pay an extra couple of thousand and take a player with an RP code?
Thank you.

Apple has a worldwide device warranty. Many people buy devices abroad, and those who have problems turn to service centers not in the same place.
With devices for other countries, you need to be careful, by the way. For example, in France, only 3 WiFi channels are available on the air on the 2.4GHz band, and in Saudi Arabia, Bluetooth is prohibited on mobile phones. In particular, Apple devices for SA come with Bluetooth tightly blocked.
