Which hardware change will invalidate fTPM?
The Windows disk is encrypted with a bitlocker using an AMD CPU fTPM with a pin code.
Do I understand correctly, if you replace the motherboard or processor, or if you reset UEFI, then the key will stop working and you will have to use the recovery code? When replacing any other components, the key will remain the same and will not have to be restored? So fTPM works?
And where is the key physically stored - in the processor or in the motherboard, or is it derived from both?
