Which front is suitable for spring?

We decided to write a joint test project with a friend. I'm a front but never worked with a java backend and he doesn't know what's best to use for the front. Do not tell me which is better or who uses what in conjunction with spring?

1) If you are doing a rest-back, then the front is in angular (react)
2) If you are doing a back-render project, then https://www.thymeleaf.org/
3) If you have no choice and need in legacy, then JSP/ JSF

Any. As far as I know, there are solutions for both server-side rendering of pages and for the Rest API. In general, for Restukha, it doesn’t matter where they will connect to it, even at the same time as coffee machines, Angular, React, and jQuery or php programs.

Not really a front, but rather simple things like an admin panel, etc. can be done on vaadin

Hmm, we have a project on the back of the spring mvc in the form of rests, on the front - vue.js. Like norms. I suppose if you do a rest service, then you untie it from any fronts at all, and the front can be anything (or even a consumer of the service, and then it can be another java application, and an android application, and anything in general) .
