I have a skill to search for customers on sites through social networks (I have my own VKontakte group). I've heard of an "escrow" where the customer deposits money and a third party pays it back to the freelancer if the job is done or returns it to the customer if the job fails. As far as I understand, freelance exchanges do this. So I want to know:

The simplest guarantee is to take money in parts, say, for a week of work at once. In case of big problems, you will lose a maximum of a week.
Escrow means that the customer can open a dispute on the topic that you promised him and did not fulfill. In this case, you will not receive money with escrow either.
Upwork is a freelance exchange. Take 10% of the amount paid to the contractor. Escrow is built in.
