Is there a system for tracking the progress of freelance orders?
Tell me, are there similar services where the customer can track the progress of work, and the freelancer can add orders and change their status accordingly?
The idea of such a service arose, I wonder if there is such a service, and if not, will such a service be of interest to the freelance community?

When there is a common task, it is divided into subtasks. With descriptions and dates. And the performer notes the stages of their execution.
Well, let's say on oDesk, when a freelancer starts work, he turns on monitoring. oDesk Team automatically takes screenshots of your computer's desktop every few minutes and calculates how long it took to complete the task.
For the customer, this is an opportunity to make sure that the freelancer actually worked the stated hours. And for the employee - a guarantee of payment of money.

There is a cool Agile board in the YouTrack tracker, where you can scatter tasks over sprints (sprint is a time interval, usually two weeks) and in each sprint you can see task status columns. This is very clear - the tasks gradually move from the leftmost column to the rightmost one and you can immediately see if they suddenly get stuck somewhere. There you can also see the schedule for the movement of tasks (there is even a line of the “ideal” schedule, relative to which it is convenient to compare).
Freelancers are different, if the work is divided into tasks, then it’s easier to use something like a basecamp.
If this is from the copyright area, then the parts are being exchanged. If design - then there is always an agreement when what part of the work is designed. will show.
I don't get the point.
Most of my customers on odesk.com use issue trackers and know how things are going.
