Hello. Which free antivirus can check Mac? There have been some weird glitches lately. For example, I open the browser, and it sometimes switches and opens another inactive program, such as an audio player. Rather not. Both applications are running, but the browser is open, and then the computer itself may switch to another active program. Actually something is wrong :)

Try changing the keyboard.
Or log in with another user: if the glitch disappears, the problem is caused by a virus that you personally installed in the system. There is only a complete reinstallation of the system, with manual copying of "favorite cats", but not installed "applications"
Perhaps you have VNC enabled and a user without a password - underage Chinese hackers can have fun
My 100 users in 10 years had no problems with viruses on MacOS
