Which faculty to go to study at MSTU?

I love programming very much, and judging by Google, the best university is MSTU, but I have not yet fully decided on the university, I would like to know your opinion.
And if MSTU is the best, then I would like to choose the coolest faculty in it for programming.
I myself would like to become a web programmer, but there are no such universities, but knowledge of php or ruby on rails will not be superfluous, I need a faculty with these languages. (I myself have not yet chosen which is better php or ruby on rails.)
And the university must also be Moscow.

I confirm. At the university, you will be given fundamental knowledge, not specific technologies. Moreover, get ready to study engineering graphics and descriptive geometry, where you need to draw with a pencil on paper, a bunch of mathematical disciplines. Physics (in all manifestations). TOE (in all manifestations) and the like. I'm silent about economics, cultural studies, history, foreign language and so on. For the first two years, no special training at all and A LOT of study. Then it's easier.
They will not teach you rails there.
I myself graduated from PS-6 last year. If you want - write in a personal questions. Yes, and be prepared, just in case, for the fact that you may not enter the coolest faculty.

Going to a university to study specific technologies is pointless. They go to universities for fundamental knowledge, and php and rails based on this will not be a problem to study on their own.

To study the rails - 2-3 months, without much effort and stress. You can meet 1 if you devote yourself completely to the process. For the sake of 1 YaP, I do not advise you to go to a university. Radi 2-3 too. All of them are quite normally learned from the right books in combination with purposeful practice. The university will provide a fundamental technical base. Whether you need it or not - that's what you should think about.
