Which engine to choose for a Q&A site?

I thought Question2Answer. But still need advice.

If the project is serious, then only "self-written".
If there are no "global" plans for the site and it will only be a place for discussing certain topics in a rather narrow circle, where the content itself is much more important than the "wrapper", then use any "engine" for the forum, which is easier for you.
If it is a student term paper, then you yourself are free to choose what and on what to do, someone simply "casts lots", someone follows the subjective opinion of their mentor, and someone has their own plans and, depending on them, chooses to spend time as efficiently as possible.
