A matter of taste and preference. But from my bell tower I will yell "take wordpress". Tons of plugins for all occasions. Very convenient admin panel, you walk on it without thinking. The functionality is extended through plugins and your code is very simple.
Wora Press- this is apparently a Polish publishing house, so it's better to take cms for online stores, which is Open Cart
Let's go garlic.
1. Is it possible to do well and efficiently on WP? Yes, you can. What about OC? It's also possible.
2. Is it possible to natively code an ad on WP? Yes, you can. And on the OS? It's also possible.
Conclusion - take the tool that you know better, want and are ready to study deeper (but you have to, and in the case of WP, there are essentially 2 engines - WordPress and WooCommerce). Everything else is taste and ignorance of the capabilities of a particular platform, the inability to cook it.
Of these 2 options - only Open Cart. I think I won’t be far from the truth if I say that OC is more of an e-commerce engine. There is a positive experience. CMS has a large amount of add-ons for fine-tuning the IM and extending the functionality to a certain variety (various acquiring modules, adaptive templates, etc.), until the performance fails. A highly loaded Ulmart cannot be built on it, but about 100K commodity items are easy (from personal experience).
Word Press is more suitable for business card sites, small communities, blogs, etc.
