Which DHCP server with a Web interface is better to choose?
Connoisseurs, point to the true path.
There is a virtual machine on Gentoo (but you can change the OS if you wish) where you need to configure a DHCP server. The server requires the ability to administer via the console and the web, the ability to easily add new network ranges, and bind devices by MAC. Tell me, what is the best way to look?
Plus the question, can anyone tell me how to calculate the required server power depending on the expected number of hosts?

isc-dhcpd + ajenti take a look.

If you only have dchpd there, then no way. A gigabyte of memory is enough for about 10k hosts, the processor ... well ... the processor in raspberry will do. Here you need to understand that requests to dhcp will only be for ... uh ... requests to dhcp. That is, when machines enter the network. If you have an office for a couple of hundred machines that all turn on at the same time in the morning, then the processor is better than core2duo or an atom from the latter (so that there are several cores).
