Which DBMS to choose after the Access database has reached 2GB?
Good afternoon. Used at the enterprise Access . Several tables, two of which have files. Now the limit of 2 GB has been reached and the question has become what to do next.
What do you suggest? What to move on to and what can be solved by existing methods.
PS do not offer separation.

Good. The structure of the base you have, of course .... Leaves much to be desired.
Directly on a subject - ms sql, of course. Express Edition 2014 will be free (see terms of use) and more powerful than access. It will be quite easy to translate the tables, and then you include the linked table in the access and you won’t even need to redo the code of the aforementioned access.
Ps You will need help - contact me, I ate a dog on such things, serbernara.
Merge into any database with ODBC support. There is a positive experience of using Firebird in this role.
the entire volume of the database you clog files.
storing binaries in the database is a bad idea,
if possible, then it's best to remake your software or whatever you have, let it save the file name to the database, and the file itself on disk.
For specifics , I'm attaching two screenshots . The essence of the database is that there are outlets and legal entities to which they belong. In the table Jur. persons, respectively, all the necessary data that relate to legal entities and their statutory documents, and in the table of outlets all the information on them + permissive documents with validity periods are sharpened. Data entry is done through a form.
