Which CMS to choose in PHP?

We need a PHP content management system that uses mysql databases, which has the ability to register / authorize users and add materials. And most importantly, cms should be easy to edit.

Since Jekyll does not roll for ideological reasons - then Sculpin.
But if WordPress is "too complicated" - then yes, this is probably not the question here at all.
