Which CMS to choose for a blog?

I know that now everyone will start saying that there is nothing better than WP, but I do not need 50% of the functionality of WP, I need a lightweight CMS with only the necessary features
An example of what I want to get is blog.macpaw.com
Just a blog with posts without everything superfluous

Bludit is lightweight, on files, simple as a felt boot.

WordPress.

Don't need it - don't use it, just turn them off. Wordpress has an admin area where you can customize it to suit your needs.

I doubt you will find a CMS that will only have the features you need. WP was originally built for blogs and is great for it. Over time, new features may become necessary. And the speed and ease of front-end depends on the template that you will use.

In my opinion, the popular CMS for blogging are DLE, Joomla and Word Press. What to use is a matter of taste. Worked with DLE and Joomla (old version). I like DLE better.

If you want to have only what you need there, then write from scratch.
