Which cheap Android smartphone to choose for learning mobile development?
Hello.
There was an interest in mobile development.
As far as I know, it is possible to test applications in the simulator, but I would like to try my work on a live device. The current devices are from a well-known apple manufacturer, but I'm more interested in Android development, so I want to choose an inexpensive Android smartphone.
I remembered that now there are many worthy devices in China, but I don’t want to buy blindly.
Please give me advice on what to buy. I would like to keep within 5 thousand (if it is realistic at all).
If not realistic, then advise more expensive options.

I would recommend Moto G/Moto E. Inexpensive and hope for the latest updates (to get acquainted with new features)
For training, the emulator is quite ok.
If you do serious projects - you will need a whole zoo of basic devices
The best option is Chinese friends. I ordered a couple of devices from there - they arrived without problems. The main problem is to choose which device to buy. I think if you only need them for development, then many issues will simply be solved by the necessary set of requirements for the device.
Take a device with API version: 8, 14+ and with different screen sizes. Well, there to be compasses, gps, the presence of two cameras, autofocus and the like. Well, so that the space on the internal storage was decent. And then I bought HTC Wildfire S at one time, and then I suffered all the way - 100MB for applications.
You will be happy.
PS If there are iDevices, why not look towards development for these devices? There and the market, it seems like it will be livelier.
take a walk around the flea market))) seriously look with your hands, you can assemble a current park for inexpensively, the Chinese are different, I have a tablet, I'm sure it's a phone))
