Which browser eats less memory and CPU?

Hello brains! I'm writing from my phone, as it's impossible on a computer.

The other day my computer died.
As a temporary solution, I assembled a s775 celeron 2 from the trash with something GHz, ddr1 memory 512 + 128mb

Vidyuha engt440.

What is the most lightweight browser? For opera / ff / Yandex / chrome they eat as soon as the browser is opened - there is as much memory as the entire OS does not eat.

Also, I cannot find on the Internet how to understand whether the processing power of the video card is involved when playing video.

Currently lubuntu advanced x64 is installed.

Video in YouTube is played at 10fps and the percentage is loaded at the same time by 100%.

The nvidia-detect package is the hat. Says put the latest driver, but they do not support vidyuha. Super logic is simple.

celeron 2
Modern video has been decoded with a hardware codec built into the CPU for more than 10 years, so if you have celeron2, it does not support this and will stupidly fail. Forget about video, on celeron2 you can watch Mpeg2, at best mpeg4 with a low bitrate, if it's some kind of xvid thread, but just forget about modern codecs on which the whole world now lives.

video card can be activated if a number of conditions match - the presence of a driver, the presence of codec support by the card, and several others, about which you should rather guess, because in different versions, in different ways, and google tips for one version will not fit another.
For example, in Chrome there is a code to support a video card, but the probability that everything will grow together and the code will work is low - you need a bunch of conditions to match, if any of them fall off, there will be a fallback on the CPU

Watch the video only in 240/360 ...
There are few pipets RAM. Yes, and it clearly encodes all the percents ...
I won’t tell you by the browser

Firefox, but you'll have to tweak the config. I had an amd c50 (almost an analogue of pentium 3) - it was only possible to surf normally in it. And this is the only browser that allows you to keep 500 tabs on q9450 with 8gb ram. As for the video - you can pick up plugins - maybe that will come out. It's just not clear - but why the heck is it all? Are you setting up a torture chamber?

any.
eat sites, not the browser.
and on problematic fat sites you will have problems with "light" browsers, their cut out software functionality for the sake of reducing memory will be a problem for the sites to work correctly.
for example, facebook on palemoon simply did not show the page properly. there were too many spayware and other bells and whistles on Facebook.
cookies, JS, Java, html5 features...
