Which book/video tutorials are best for learning c#?
Hello, I'm trying to write programs in C#, specifically NET 4.0 WPF, but there are always problems that I can only solve through forums or Toster. These problems are very small; these are basic examples that I cannot solve, the same work with Tasks. What is the best book to start with? So to develop in the direction of conventional programming with the study of basic functions and not in the deepening of the mat. parts. And video tutorials wouldn't hurt either. What is the best way to learn this language?

List in descending order. Some things in video courses may already be familiar to you, but as they say, repetition is the mother of learning - you will discover something new for yourself. And yes, all video courses have English, however, it is not so scary and tricky.
WPF
WPF 4 Programming
Introduction to WPF Custom Controls
Enterprise WPF with XAML and C# from Scratch
WPF for the Business Programmer
If you are friends with English, I can advise courses from Pluralsight.com ($29 per month subscription). I'm currently studying C# using them, it's quite interesting.
I recommend the videosharp.info project .
There is a section of interactive tasks "console", where you can just practice algorithmization skills, that is, in compiling basic algorithms. There are also video courses on creating game and application programs from scratch. Plus, weekly webinars (on Saturdays).
