Which book on programming paradigms to choose?

I still can’t figure out programming paradigms, how to define an imperative or declarative paradigm by language. I read a lot of articles on Habré, but I still don’t fully understand, I decided to read the book. Maybe someone knows a good book/books on programming paradigms?
