Which antivirus to choose for home: NOD32 or Kaspersky?

Now I'm deciding which antivirus to buy for my home machines (Windows 7). A long time ago I pirated Kaspersky, but he took out his brakes and was replaced by GCD. By the way, the latter also began to cause some inconvenience (the problem with starting its service). I read a lot where that Kaspersky is no longer such a brake as before, and xs now who to buy. Actually, I'm asking for your advice.

At home I use W8.1 and regular MS antivirus - no problems.
In general, I have always used Nod32, but if there is a serious danger, then it makes sense to use Kaspersky - it is much more serious.

ESET Smart Security suits me just fine.
Tested Outpost Security Suite Pro, Emsisoft Anti-Malware, settled on ESET Smart Security

COMODO Internet Security Premium.
There were a lot of different things on the park of "sponsored" machines: both NODs, and Kaspersky, and Dr.Webs, and Avira.
After switching to CIS - no headache.
FREE.

Essentially, it's the same. but under a different sauce. The node has an assembler core, as far as I know. Kasperych has a sishka. This is what makes the difference in speed. Their bases are approximately equal. It can break through under load and both. So it all depends on preferences. Anyone who advises another antivirus - you can safely spit in your face. =) (Apart from the regular Microsoft one. The beast is wonderful and so far is perceived with sympathy. But nothing more.)

I've been using MSE on a working machine with Win7 for 2 years already, at home I didn't install anything on a computer with Win8.1 (MSE is built in there) - for 2 years I haven't had a single virus-related problem. The boss had the last KIS on his computer - not only did it constantly block access to either the Internet bank or the printer, but after removing it, the laptop just flew in (before that, a good laptop with SSD and Core i5 loaded like a regular average machine with HDD).
