1. Lately I have been using the client built into ide more often:
For VS Built-in client + Code: GitLens, Git history, git graph, git extension pack
For JB: built-in client + GitToolbox
2. If you want a standalone client, then this is git extensions ( free) and smartgit (free for non-commercial use)
I used smartgit before when I was on classic VS, but now I switched to git extensions because I don't want to pirate.
For some reason, the language was indicated in the tags, but the axis was not. Yes, and the requirements (only push-pull, or you need to climb the history well)
