Which 7-12 inch matrix to choose for the station to display current information?

Need a small monitor for the station to display current information. I looked at the ads, found cheap 15 inch monitors, but I would like a smaller size. I thought that you can take the matrix separately from the netbook and make a vga input to it.
Can you tell me which matrix to choose? What problems can you face? And is it expedient in general (I understand that it will be more expensive than a 15 "monica)?

I got interested in the same question... But it would be nice if it could be built into a 5-inch server bay... Otherwise, sometimes you have to physically climb into the server, and it is very inconvenient to carry a 24-inch monitor...
