Whether it is possible on cisco to restrict access on snmp to one specific MIB branch?
I'm used to polling different data via SNMP on switches / routers. Exposed community string, cut visibility with access lists and had access to all information. Now there is a need to give "third parties" limited access to read a particular MIB. Whether it is possible to restrict access to the MIB branch to one of the SNMP accounts? Specifically interested in the state of the ports (OID 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.8.XXX)
