Where to take photos for the textures of the faces of the characters?
Hello! Interested in the question, where do indie developers get face textures for characters? Is it always some kind of "generators", hand paint, combination? Before that I was racing and this question did not arise, but now I have a simple PS1-style project with an open world. Super detailing is not needed there, roughly speaking, 2 photos are enough for a face, but there is no way to recruit people somewhere and pay them (the project budget is only my time + a lot of people are needed) and there is not even a team of developers (forever alone :) to do photos from them, as it was in a couple of old games. And, perhaps most importantly, if we just take photos from the Internet and combine them, are there any legal subtleties in this regard? Commercial project. (I know it sounds funny).

https://www.thispersondoesnotexist.com/ Look at this site. There, the faces of non-existent people on the planet are generated. Just refresh the page for new faces.
