Where to study as an IT specialist who was expelled from the university?
Good day.
That's something everyone has New Year's holidays, but I have New Year's depression.
Let's talk about myself, I'm currently 19 years old, a former student who got kicked out for not attending. From the age of 15 he was engaged in web development, as he all started with sites on frames. From the age of 16 he began to travel to various competitions, winner (3rd place) "Intel Isef 2012 Kyiv". As well as many other certificates, and letters of thanks I have, which are not worth listing, of various scales.
I’ll tell you right away why I didn’t go to the university - I didn’t want to sit and listen to lectures about Pascal, listen to fellow students discuss hacking VKontakte, and other crap, similarly. That's why I stopped going, I still paid for it for a while, but then I stopped, and they drove off.
At the moment, I have the wildest zeal to study or train abroad. For several months I have been studying various grants, everywhere you need to be a university student, apparently this is how the degree of development is regarded abroad.
I don’t study at the university, I work, do freelance, I’m in my country, at the moment it’s getting dangerous, because I’m not ready to get a machine gun in my hands (Please don’t raise a political topic in the topic, I see no reason to fight for the sake of the oligarchs).
All with the coming, all the best, and peace.

It is quite possible to dump to study in Europe
. A friend did just that for about the same reasons -
he chose Germany (he has 3 courses - they have the same entrants)
But you need to pass exams + knowledge of the language is mandatory.
In general, it is better to ask about this purposefully a person who has already gone through admission and so on, when you decide on a place.
Yes, and what for this institute can (if only it’s not a narrow specialization, but such ones still need to be found)?
As for training - don't you study while freelancing?
Not all the same projects to do.
Over time, there will be much more experience, the main thing is to use and understand something new, and not copy-paste.
Cheer up, remember that both Jobs and Gates (and me))) were expelled)
the Internet offers a sea of opportunities for self-study, you will learn English normally (it's very easy, literally three books, then everything will fly) and in general you will get a levelup.
the main thing is to find a job and practice, because You are young, if I were you, I would choose experience between money and interesting experience.
like unequivocally. S.N. =)
As for leaving the university, in your case - a great step, because it was not training, but a factor limiting it.
Well? ...
Everything is strange.
There are many chaotic questions before trying to adequately answer.
Firstly, why did you go to study where you went and where you were expelled from?
What was your goal if you did not attend lectures, what did you expect from your studies?
Secondly, how did you go to conferences and olympiads (events) - from the university or from yourself?
If you were doing this from a university, it would be strange if you were kicked out of there.
At the expense of listening to courses in Pascal and other crap in the current higher education ...
No matter how you think, with the use of Pascal you and not only you want to instill interest and make it clear the meaning of programming, penetrate the meaning of data structures, the theory of algorithms, learn to think. If you realize this, then language will not matter to you!
Skipping lectures or not is a personal matter for everyone. The main thing is to be in the subject and in order to graduate from the university in the specialty you went to, then be kind enough to pass everything. If something does not suit you, then what was the point of going there? So in many Russian universities. In general, our universities, as before, in most cases provide a base, a knowledge base, and this provides the foundation for many specialties. It is still in most cases appreciated also in the West. Like a soviet school of education, since the teachers still remained from the USSR. But everything is changing...
As I understand it, everything is already clear for you - you have been kicked out, you are standing on the road of life and want to somehow develop for your career. For everything to be normal for you now, the main thing is aspiration, emphasis, diligence, start small and achieve more. It is better to work and study exactly what you like, then you will become a real specialist. And as a result, you will be in demand and you will be happy. Your work should ultimately bring you pleasure, then there will be success!
And do not forget to constantly learn new things and stay in trend, because the world of information technology is relentless and develops faster than any other sphere of humanity....
