Where to store a huge number of bookmarks?
hello,
I use bookmarks on web pages in the browser, sorted into folders. the moment came when there were too many of them and I began to get lost in the scrolling of folders. + don't want to lose them
what services/methods of sorted bookmarks do you know/use?
desirable: assigning ratings and tags to links (study now / in a month / read later, etc.), the ability to comment on links

It's better to store bookmarks in the basket from the beginning... anyway, there will come a moment when it's easier to google what you need again ))
PS: As in the joke "In the life of every man, there comes a moment when it's easier to buy clean socks" ))
1. Continue to store in the browser
1.1 Make a backup
2. Put things in order:
2.1. Clean up all unnecessary
2.2. Clean supposedly important
2.3. Clean up obsolete
2.4. Create such a folder structure for storage so that such questions do not arise in the future.
3. Return to point 1.
I also somehow accumulated bookmarks, I started to clean them - there were a lot of 404, a lot of info from 2008 that is no longer relevant .... + even important, but not very - also deleted, because it's easier to google again when necessary than to search ....
Do not use third-party services, because. they will have to do additional manipulations, which, in fact, will repel even more from what has not been read so far.
I looked at a couple of options, as a result, in my free time I write my “repository” of links to Django. Then I think to “upload” it to Heroku ... And so - yes, a mess of links in each browser (although it’s sorted into folders))
Helpful answers, check it out.
As an addendum to all answers - right in Chrome there is "Google Save" for example.
There I laid out "picture" sites for design, and useful SEO resources, for example.

But, whatever it may be, chaos in bookmarks is completely indestructible, it still strives to be, zarrase :)

is still damp, but it is being actively developed and you can even write your own wishes)
Cloud storage, plus all sorts of notes and frills, you can use diigo.
Good day to all!
I myself, too, have been looking for a bookmarking service for quite a long time, I have tried many different ones, but it's not the same. The main selection criterion was the availability of import / export capabilities and support for subfolders. As a result, I settled on the www.tabsbook.ru service. The service is free, there are the options described above, plus a number of other functions and the ability to customize everything for yourself. Recommend)
I don’t really like online services and browser bookmarks either, I started writing my own storage in C # .NET.

I'm still drinking slowly, but I can already use it minimally. If you like it, you can fork or join the development)
