Objective-C

Where to start learning Objective-C in mid-2014?

Good day Toaster residents.

I asked myself the question of learning programming for iOS and Mac, and since I have absolutely no experience in this matter, I need to find good reading material. There is an unrealistic amount of material on the Internet on the subject of learning Objective-C, but not all books can boast of extensive information and it is not always possible to see in them an introduction to the basics of OOP and the C language that underlies Objective-C.
As far as I understand, to learn Objective-C, you need to learn C itself and its syntax. Some books suggest learning C at the beginning of the course and a smooth transition to Objective-C.

Therefore, I would like to ask those who know, to advise a list of references to start learning Objective-C. Ideally, of course, books available to mere mortals that can be bought on the Internet / store. Scans from torrents are certainly good, but they have many flaws.

Book search option:
- The book should contain an introductory course in C for a better understanding of Objective-C in the future
- Russian language. Not critical, but still it will be better to learn in your native language.
- The book is designed for those who have never dealt with programming languages.
- The relevance of information for the latest versions of Xcode

I hope I didn't miss anything. Thanks in advance for the provided answers.

// At the moment I'm studying a version with the book S. Kochan - Programming in Objective-C, 6th edition (2014)

For all search criteria, Aaron Hillegass's book "Objective-C. Programming for iOS and MacOS" will do. A quick and high-quality introduction to Objective-C in Russian. The book is not for complete cretins, tk. does not involve chewing on the obvious or "what if" questions that can be easily checked in Xcode.
I write for Mac and there is only one really good book to recommend - "Cocoa Programming: For Mac OS X" by the same author. It doesn't seem to be in Russian, unlike the first one, which was translated and published on paper. In general, the guys from www.bignerdranch.com are great.
The best book on OOP is Faronov's book on Borland Pascal with chapters on Turbo Vision.
If I'm wrong, I'll be glad to read the recommendations in the comments.

The question has already been raised .
The information there is still relevant and nothing much has changed. In terms of books with your criteria - everything is sad. :) When you learn Objective-C, correct this injustice.
