Where to start learning angular js?

I want to learn this framework. I went through a tutorial on an off site with phones connected. But I can't understand how it works. Namely, what does he need node.js for? I would like to write some kind of blog to study, that is
, angular + database. What is needed for this and are there any tutorials? Thank you.
Or someone can suggest that it is better to start with another. There is also ember and backbone. What is the difference between them?
ps There is little experience in JavaScript.

From "pure" JS.
