Where to solder the headphone plug?

There is a favorite mp3 player - sony nwz s755. With noise reduction. And it only works with stock headphones - MDR-NC033LP. The first died (one ear) after a year and a half. Then I was sent to the service, where I ordered the same ones. Got up in 2500r. For regular, albeit good headphones - expensive. Another year and a half has passed, the second pair is also breathing its last - one of the headphones loses its signal, by "stirring" I found out that the problem is in the plug, behind the braid.
The most logical solution is to solder. But here is the problem. Even two.
1) I have been soldering for a very, very long time, everything has already been forgotten, and there are no necessary things. And I haven't seen a headphone repair service yet. Where to carry them? In any phone repair?
2) Headphones with noise reduction. The plug has a non-standard number of "rims" (google the headphone model). When soldering, what should you pay attention to, should there be any difficulties?
3) How much money will they take for this, approximately?
PS: I thought for a long time whether the question would fit this site at all, but since I saw here a discussion of headphones and other "not quite IT" - I think everything is fine?
Thank you.
