• Where should I look for such potential like-minded people? What meetups would you recommend (St. Petersburg)?
  
• Maybe there are popular sites / forum sections specifically for finding a team?
  
• Maybe there is a list of projects on github for beginners, where you could try your hand at ~junior level of knowledge?
