Is it worth learning c#?

I study c#, I really like the language, but I would like to hear the opinion of knowledgeable people. Are there any prospects for its study? Is it worth studying?

Of course it's worth it. For example, having learned C#, I write fluently in Javascript and Java. The main thing is to start, then switch to something else will not be a problem.

It’s not worth it :) you need fewer competitors :) It’s better to make refrigerators :)
But seriously, it’s a great language, but it’s better not to get hung up on it alone and learn related Java, JavaScript and PHP along with it.

Learn the language for sure. Studio, ASP.NET, IIS is not junk. I have been working with .NET since its inception. This is great technology. The salaries of specialists with knowledge of C# or VB.NET are quite high.

Well, two hundred and four hundred thousand rubles from the tops, you won’t get any more.

The language is good, but the studio, asp.net, iis, that's all - terrible junk and vendor lock-in. The only decent use is Unity3D.

Yes, it's worth it. It is also worth learning haskell, erlang, scala, Java, F#, C, C++, JavaScript. Each language has its own paradigms and approaches to solving problems, it is undoubtedly useful to know many languages. What language to specialize in is a separate issue.

It is worth starting with the question - what do you want to develop as a result?
For what segment and what software.
After answering these questions, you can simply look at the level of salaries of specialists in the list of technologies and determine the prospects :)
