Where to look for experience for an inexperienced programmer (Java language)?

I'm learning to write in java < language is cool and popular :) > I'm doing it myself. Where to gain experience, what to do? I am not yet confident in my abilities for "very serious" work, and coaching is very necessary.

You do not need any freelance, get an internship at some firm where there are people who can tell you and guide you. If you are a young specialist and your priority is to increase your qualifications and not earn money, then this option is for you.

1. Looking for a decent office in your city.
2. You write a letter there with the text "What should your junior be able to do?"
3. You test your skills, go for an interview.
4. You get a job as a junior, experience starts to flow like a river.

if you are from a small town and there are no decent companies (where you can even get a part-time job as a Java junior), then try to look for vacancies on freelance or remote work. if there is an opportunity in the city or suburbs, then get a job and upgrade on projects, learning from the javiist monsters who lead these projects
