Where to look for employers? (Outsourcing)

Hello.
Many programmers go to different Thailand, Goa, Vietnam, Nepal, etc., working there on the Internet.
Actually, the question is: where to look for such employers so that you can work remotely?
Freelancing is not suitable - it is very hemorrhoid to look for good customers. Yes, the income is annoying.
If anyone has this experience, tell us how you found your employer.

Freelance for a couple of years, make connections, earn yourself a rating and a reputation.
During this time, you will find many regular customers and you will be contacted on the recommendations that you will not even need to look for anyone.
Up to $3K you can earn quite.
At least I once started this way on Weblancer.net and I succeeded.
From this or next year I plan to move to Tai every year for half a year for wintering.

I got on the slippery path of such a war, lol.
The bottom line is this: I plan to take orders (2-4) and leave (for a couple of months). Contacts by phone, skype, mail. Plus, part of the team is always in Moscow, so if you need to meet with the customer, this can be done.
In a word, you need a team that you can trust.

Not really on topic, but I'll tell you my personal experience.
Unfortunately, I don’t personally know a single freelancer who has gone somewhere far away, but I know a lot of non-freelancers who live or lived for some time in Thailand.
There were 2 options here.
The first are people who used to work in the office. But the authorities thought why keep the office, if all the same can be obtained by working remotely and the office was closed, the employees accordingly went home and to different countries, but the essence of the work has not changed :)
The second are people who have a business in Russia, who part of the time or all the time can be controlled lying under a palm tree.
That is, none of my friends were looking for work in order to move somewhere, but on the contrary, work suddenly allowed me to work from anywhere in the world.
And on the topic - on the same freelance sites, full-time vacancies remotely slip or orders with the subsequent continuation of work with the customer. Well, you will have to look for good customers yourself, unfortunately no one will pick you up for you. :)

Look for a job right away in Thailand. I live for the second year, I work in the second company, the first was Canadians, the second is already a British owner. In fact, there is a very, very high demand for IT specialists, if you delve a little, then there is always work.
There are also a lot of expats here, a lot of Russians, also freelancers, designers, SEO, etc. from which you can also get regular or stable work.
ps I saw your Android tag, but you don’t write under iPhone? We really need an iPhone developer!

As far as I read (on the example of the developers of Lingua Leo), they had their own project for which they were able to get an investor. And instead of renting an office in Moscow, they rented a living space in Thailand, where they worked on the project.

Didn't find what you were looking for?
