I have an application written in flutter and also a service. We need mobile notifications.

I already googled but firebase or onesignal is everywhere, can push notification be done without third party services like firebase or one signal?

Fireabase is needed so that you can send notifications to a mobile phone using the backend. At the same time, you do not keep your server and service, but use the Google server and service. The question is why do you need to make your own service if there are ready-made and proven ones?
