Where to learn the art of creating search engines?

I have little experience in creating search engines, but I would like to improve my knowledge.
Where can I find a university curriculum on this topic or any articles describing the basic principles and algorithms?
Maybe there is some manual on how to create a search engine? So that with a plan and inspiration :)

Search the web for open access documents on Yandex search technologies from conferences, read their blog. Try and study their technologies https://tech.yandex.ru .

What exactly is needed? Code examples, or a description of the difficulties and ways to solve them?
Long time ago, I remember, the creators of nigma.ru wrote a lot about their system. How were they created, what were the problems, how were they solved.
