Where to gain experience in layout?

Good day. For a long time I was engaged in layout more for myself, for pleasure. I made simple landings, edited other sites, and sawed a couple of my own. Now I decided to try my hand at freelancing. It’s scary to take orders right away, and although I’m confident in my knowledge, it often happens that I don’t know something. This is not a problem - I learn quickly, but when I take serious orders, I want to be more savvy or something.
The question is where you can find a person/studio, who needs such a beginner to help, do routine work, etc. willing to work for little pay or experience for the first time. Maybe someone knows there forums or sites where you can throw such an announcement.
Thanks in advance :)

The first site (by the way, it was necessary to land on the VP) was made for 500 UAH 2 years ago, at the time of the highest crisis. Now I would do for 4000 UAH. And yes, then I didn’t know everything that I know now both in layout and in WP.
This is me to the fact that, as for me, you need to take on exactly what you don’t know - study in the process. I wouldn’t know much now if I didn’t take on projects in which I didn’t know something.
In any case, this development option suited me and now I have a regular customer in the form of a studio, I go to freelancing as such (on the exchanges) once every couple of months.

Most of the freelance jobs are banal layout, sometimes adaptive, plus some goodies in the form of animations that can be stirred up using an endless list of jQuery plugins. You are quite capable of doing things, don't be shy.
