Where to find the Joomla! 1.5\2.5 to monitor changes in site files?

Need a Joomla! 1.5\2.5 to monitor changes in site files.
The Eyesite module only shows which files have been changed, it does not show the changes themselves.
For example
it was:

<?php
Hello world!
?>

became:
<?php
Hello world!
Bye moon!
?>

This needs to be tracked. What/where added.
Hosting from mchost, not vps.

Do you have someone directly on the hosting makes changes to the files?
For your task, you need to use version control systems. Then you will understand who changed what and when.

I support the previous speaker. For closed projects use bitbucket.org, for open projects it is popular to use github. Although bitbucket is quite suitable. Thus, get rid of the hemorrhoids of creating your own repository on your server. In general, here's something for you to read:
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%A1%D0%B8%D1%81%D1%82%D0%...
