Where to enter - Philology (English language and literature) or Computer science and computer technology?
At the moment I am engaged in the layout of web pages (html + css + jquery), in the future PHP + databases. I want to enter Philology for intensive study of the English language, but I plan to work in the IT field.
I am self-taught, so I do not want to enter IT technologies. Will it be difficult in the future to get a job as a front-end developer with a degree in Philology?

It is better to improve English on your own (courses, books, special applications, teachers, tutors), and it is better to get a tower in your specialty. In addition to the fact that this gives a base, you will have a profile diploma (especially in programming), which is considered, in contrast to a non-core one (which in this case is a simple thoughtless killing of time, money and effort)
