Where to develop after Java core?

I know java core well. Where better to go further, so that after 5-6 months of study you could go to the position of junior. Actually, the choice of two Java EE options (Jsp, Servlets Api ) or just studying Android Sdk and trying to cut small programs. I'm waiting for advice or examples from my own experience.

See from Java EE: Servlets, Jsp. JDBC is still required. And fuck Spring. Cool theme. And then there are unit tests. And you are really handsome

Try this and that. I myself worked on Android, then for a year on java ee, then again on Android. I decided for myself that in order to understand the spirit of programming, you need to participate in an enterprise (or large enough) project, then there is an understanding of why patterns, architectures and tests are needed. For android, applications are smaller and easier to maintain and easier to rewrite, all the more so this needs to be done all the time, since the platform is developing rapidly, so often the same tests are not really needed.
