Where to blame with upwork?

*surprise* crept up unnoticed.
For several years he successfully worked at elance.com, and then, suddenly, they decided to unite with this hated odesk and rebrand to upwork.
Elance persistently asked to transfer the profile to upwork and continue working there, well, he did.
I asked my current clients to transfer their profile there too.
In general, the client moved to Upwork, made a new order, and we continued to work with him ... After 2 days, both of our accounts were blocked (double registration was suspected) and verification was required.
I passed the verification, but my client is still (a month already) being thwarted and not allowed to pass the verification. The client is quite old (from 2012 on elance.com), he already has a five-digit amount of spent money, a lot of orders.
Money in hold, I can't take new orders, the client is in shock.
Where to get off this shit? Working on elance is not an option, they strongly advise against it.

I do not advise anyone to deal with upwork. Even old and upgraded accounts can be locked at any time on suspicion of "double registration", lock your money and answer tickets for half a year.
Phone support does nothing at all. Live Chat stupidly disconnects from the conversation, does not even want to talk.

Of the freelance sites, there are also guru.com, freelancer.com
But I don’t know what’s good there.
In general, freelancing is the bottom, from my point of view. You need to have regular customers, and since you have one, then work directly.

I suspect that this is the same crap as with Yandex Money.
as soon as they were bought by the Sberbank, they forcibly fraudulently asked everyone to be verified.
namely, they blocked accounts with alleged suspicion of changing the password, and it was possible to unlock them only after passing verification.
