Where to apply your “talents” as a programmer?

I know at a level below junior (as a student) C ++ and Java. I don’t know where to spend my sort of “talent” except for labs. What to do? I have no ideas and nowhere to go, including for an internship.

And it's bad that there are no ideas. Ideas should always be. An idea is a dream, and if you don't dream, maybe you don't have enough knowledge for dreams to be born, there is no soil on which they could grow. The question is whether you have enough perseverance and desire to educate yourself.

If you are interested in mobile development:
- take Android development courses on the courser (for example, you can start with this: https://www.coursera.org/course/androidpart1 )
- come up with your own idea or find any small simple application
- write its analogue
- put it on github
- start sending out resumes with a link to this project.
In general, it is very strange to hear that no one needs Java Junior.

You can also create something on WordPress based on templates. Cheap, fast and cheerful.
