Distributed Computing

Where practice distribution. calculations? How would I check the boinc jobs?

It's just that they allegedly calculate something in boinc in hundreds of countries on PCs (CPU or gpu) and smartphones.
And there are dozens of Russian servers.
There, points are awarded and certificates are issued
, and even black holes and pulsars are discovered.
But there is no visual animation most often, and where offline machines
are difficult to bring tasks and pick up results, and the task processing time is 1-10 days mostly.
In general, in the whole world there are no analogues of a boink?
Distributed computing most often contains tasks;
there is such closed data that there are doubts
that there might just be brute or mining going on there?
How does it even make sense for Russian techies to participate in such a thing?
Not fashionable? Technically, it makes total sense
calculate unknown what is unknown for whom?
Just wondering if someone is able to open tasks for calculations and fully control the process? There, Russian server owners use something like c ++
